Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit for whey. The advantages of a RO unit is that it makes more concentrated whey which is more valuable. Besides this the water will be filtered which makes it useful for CIP or other utilities in the factory. 5 stages. Stage 1: 5 tubes of diameter 8” x 4 Filters per pipe = 32 filters. Stage 2,3,4 and 5 with each 10 tubes of diameter 3.8” each loop. x 5 filter per pipe = 200 filters. Feed pump and 2x HP pump (Grundfoss, multistage) up to 40 bar. Each loop has a high pressure circulation pump. Including flow transmitters (E&H). The dosing pumps for cleaning detergents (3p) is currently missing. Skid mounted. Input is approx.: 20.000 - 22.000 liter per hour with ± 6 - 6.2 % Total Solids. Output approx. 5.000 liter per hour with ± 22% total solids. Excluding PH- control (PH should be not more than 6). Including set of 200 new filters each 4”, 20 filters, each 8”, control panel, Siemens S7 PLC and a Siemens HMI.
