Inline standardization unit for milk and cream, complete skid-mounted system for inline calculation of fat percentage in incoming milk. The unit was previously installed downstream of a Westfalia MSB170-01-076 separator with a capacity of 20,000 ltr/h and is designed for installation after a skimmer with a capacity range of 12,000 to 25,000 ltr/h. The fully automatic system includes interconnecting piping, control panel, flow meter, density transmitters (mass flow meters), regulating valves, and on/off valves. Inline density measurement is performed using Endress+Hauser instrumentation, consisting of two Promass S mass flow meters (1” and 2”) with Promass 83 transmitters, controlled via Siemens SIMATIC S6. Process connections are 1.5” SMS for cream and 2.5” SMS for skim milk. The system is designed to achieve fat contents of 20–40% in cream and 1.0–4.5% in standardized milk.
