Grid Melter for blocks up to 25 kg. Designed for melting hard or frozen blocks of butter/margarine/Fatts for further processing. Capacity 50-10.000 kg/h and CIP cleanable, with 4 spray-balls. Hot water (120°C -2 bar) runs through the grid and bottom (spiral form). With a double-acting pneumatic cilinder on inlet cover. With connections for temperature sensor and level sensor. Special horizontal en centered agitator with vanes below grid (EDW 1-3 agitator). Documentation: operating and maintenance instructions available. Currently without controls.
