The SchmiRo A/2500-DT cheese greasing and care robots are primarily used in cheese dairies or aging cellars for semi-hard and sliced cheeses from the cheese shelves. The robot operates fully automatically and is equipped with several optional features. This robot is designed for greasing and treating 6 kilograms cheeses of 300 mm in diameter, with a maximum height of 100 mm per cheese. Both wooden and plastic boards can be processed. Regarding board types, this robot is used for wooden cheese shelves ( 105 x 30.5 cm) Approximately 2200 cheese shelves are available. The movements are electrically and pneumatically driven. Due to its compact design, the robot is highly user-friendly. The method has proven itself, especially through the consistent spreading quality. That’s why larger cheese dairies today use robots for cheese care and spreading.
Brush duration and the amount of spreading fluid can be adjusted. There is an option to choose between circulation or single spreading. Turning the cheeses has a positive effect on the aging process. During the spreading process, the board can be replaced. The operation is made possible through a very simple control panel. A cheese change option is available. In- and out-feed programs are selectable.
Modern PLC control for process monitoring and fault reporting. The capacity is approximately 100 boards per hour and with Siemens Simatic S7 controls. The robot is complete with the cheese shelves and stainless steel racks (4x) 1280 x 50 x 255 cm and the the option to purchase the complete climate control.
